TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1- On 17 October, the colonist Turkish state army launched a military operation by air-landing on the areas of Anafatma, Veranis and Mile/Dersim. The operation in these areas still continues.
2- On 16 October at around 17:00 hour, our guerrillas carried an action against the enemy troops positioned on the Hill of Sivan/Uludere/Sirnak. As a result of this action 1 enemy soldier killed and 2 other wounded by our guerrillas. Aftermath of the action, the colonist Turkish state army carried obus and mortar attack on the Hills of Dola Bezenike and Kecel. On the same day in between 23:00-24:00 hours, the colonist Turkish state army carried obus and mortar attack on the areas of Dola Bezenike, Sehit Mervan and the Straits of Mergesis.
3- On 16 October at around 15:20 hour, our guerrillas carried an action against the Dereova military station/Nazimiye/Dersim. Our guerrillas targeted the tents and the cabins during the action. The number of killed and wounded enemy couldn't be able to clerified. Aftermath of the action, while the enemy troops opened rapid fire on the surrounding area with no aim, a military operation launched in the surrounding area. The operation in the area still continues.
4- On 16 October at around 17:20 hour, our guerrilla carried out an action against the enemy troops positioned on the Hill of Guvenlik/Dersim. As a result, 1 member of the Special Teams killed by our guerrillas. Aftermath of this action, our guerrillas carried out another action with heavy weaponary targeting the Hill and a Panzer. As a result of this second action, while the panzer damaged, the number of killed and wounded enemy couldn't be able to clerified. Aftermath of these actions, at around 16:30 hour, two cobra type helicopters belongs to the colonist Turkish state army bombarded the areas of these actions.
5- On 15 October at around 19:00 hours, our guerrillas carried an action against the Police HQ in the district of Omerli/Mardin. The number of killed and wounded enemy couldn't be able to clerified after the action.
