TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1. In between 22:30 hours of 16th and 04:00 hours of 17th July, 2010, the Turkish army bombarded the villages of Sate and Biye/Yuksekova/Hakkari and, the area of Carcela/Zagros/the Medya Defence Areas, with obus and mortars.

2. On 16th of July, 2010, in between 09:00-09:30 hours, the Turkish state army bombarded the village of Mawata/Zagros/the Medya Defence Area, with obus and mortars. As a result of this bombardment the area set a fire, which is still continues.

3. In between 15th and 16th July, 2010, the turkish state army bombarded the Hills of Sehit Beritan, Karker, Koordine and Sehit Kurtay/Xakurke/the Medya Defence Areas, with obus and mortars.

4. The Turkish state army launched a military operation in the surrounding area of Pervari/Siirt, on the night of 16th of July, 2010. The detail information in regarding to this operation will be shared in the up coming days.

5. On 15th of July, 2010, the Turkish state army bombarded the Hills of Ciyares, Angola and Ferhat, together with the villages of Kare and Zebke/Zap/the Medya Defence Areas, with obus and mortars. As a result of the bombardment the area has been set fire and vineyards and gardens belongs to the villagers in the village of Zebke has been mostly destroyed.

6. On 13th of July, 2010, at 22:00 hours, a clash occurred in between our guerrillas and the unit of enemy soldiers belongs to the Turkish state army, in the rural areas of the village of Xiraba/Mazgirt/Dersim. As a result of this clash one (1) of our guerrila friend name Fuat has been wounded. Then, on 14th of July, the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the area. Following the operation, on the same day, a second clash occurred in between 07:30-09:00 hours.  As a result of this second clash, our wounded guerrilla friend named Fuat reached his testimony after brave resistance.
