TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1-The occupier forces of the Turkish state army have been carrying out a military operation in the area in between Bingol-Mus and the district of Kulp/Amed, since 12 May. The cobra type helicopter and tanks carried out intensive bombardments on the area of operation, from night hours of 20 May to morning hours of 21 May. While the military operations are continuing in the areas of the South of Mus, the area of Sehit Remzi/Amed, Bingol and Bitlis, these operations putting the lifes of the the Head of the AKP in the district of Kulp and 6 Village-Guards, whome were arrested by our guerrillas, in danger. Everyone should know that these operations, which is going on under pretext of ‘resque operations’, are in fact the operations of destruction. On this matter, both the democratic circles and the close relatives of arrested people should show the necessary sensitivity.
2-The occupier forces of the Turkish state army have been carrying out operation of ambushes in the Valley of Kizilkilise, the Bush sideline, the Hill of Karargah, the area of Holozkaya, the Village of Bolofit and surrounding areas/Cemce, in the district of Kagizman/Kars, since 17 May. The operation in the area still continues.
3-On 21 May at around 19:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against a military mini-bus, which was going to the Pinge military post, in the district of Catak/Van. The number of killed and wounded enemy soldiers couldn’t be able clerified. Aftermath of the action, enemy forces opened rapid fire on the surrounding area with no aim.
