TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1-On 20 May at 17:30 hour, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army launched military operation in the areas of Resgul and Dest, in between the district of Hozat and Dersim Central. The operation in the area still continues.
2-On 20 May at 21:30 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against the military post in the Village of Xerzikeerebo, in the district of Omerli/Mardin. As a result 1 enemy soldier killed by our guerrillas.
On 21 May at around 06:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out second action on the same military post, while 8 enemy soldiers gathered in one place. As a result, 5 enemy soldiers killed and 3 others wounded. Aftermath of the action, enemy forces took away corpses of their killed and wounded soldiers with ambulances and Sikorsky type helicopters.
3-On 20 May at around 13:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against the enemy soldiers positioned themselves on the Hill of Meymun, in the district of Uludere/Sirnak. As a result, 3 enemy soldiers killed, and 1 guerrilla have been martryd.
As a result of total clashes in this area since 18 May, total of more than 18 enemy soldiers killed. We have received an information that one of guerrilla friend, which we did not know where about of him, also have been martryd. Thereafter, total number of guerrilla have been martryd in the clashes in this area reached to 3, in the clashes since 18 May in this area.
As we clerify the I.D. details of our 3 martryd guerrillas, will be shared with public.
4-On 20 May, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army deployed a total of 26 military vehicles, including 4 Panzers, 4 Tanks and 3 cannons, to area in between the Villages of Turkmen and Ciftlik, in the district of Dogubeyazit/Agri. The occupier forces of the Turkish state army carrying out preparations for a comprehensive military operation in this area.
