TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1- We have had already shared the information with public on the extensive military operation launched by the Turkish state army in the areas of Kirmizidag, Uzuntarla, Hotmeri and Derheci/Dersim, on 6 May.

And, we have given that 2 enemy soldiers killed during clashes. Yet, according to the new details, 3 enemy soldiers of these 2 professional sergeant killed during the clashes. Also, the operation still continues and enemy's hidden units in search of the area and carries out ambushes.

2- On 11 May in between 11:00-14:00 hours, the Turkish state army carried out an attack by bomarding the Hillsides of the Xantur/Haftanin/the Medya Defence Areas, with tanks.

3- On 11 May in between 10:00-11:00 hours, the Turkish state army carried obus and mortar attack on the area of the Kucuk Gar/Zap/the Medya Defence Areas.

4- On 26 May, the Turkish state army launched en extensive military operation in the areas of Berav, Sevdin, Sehit Siyar and Sehit Gabar/Yedisu/Bingol. As a part of operation, the Cobra type attack helicopters bombarded above mentioned areas. Also, extent of the operation widened by air-landing the soldiers on the Balbaya and Sehit Gabar Plateaus by Scorski type helicopters. As well as, we have informed the public in regarding the usage of a substance that smells like minth, burns the throat and vomitting. While the Turkish state army was controlling the areas where they used this substance, on 11 May they reinforced the forces and extended their operation to the areas of Lemce, Pira Xanika and Geliye Bilika as well. The operation in the area still continues and the hidden units carries search and ambushes.
