TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1- On 22 July at around 11:30 hour, there has been a clash occurred in between our guerrillas and the soldiers belongs to the Cicekli Army station/Dersim. As a result of this clash 3 enemy soldiers killed, unknown number of soldiers wounded by our guerrillas.
Aftermath of the clash, the Turkish state army launched a military operation by air-landing its soldiers with scorscy helicopters under the cobra type attack helicopters in the areas of Helasor, Mezra Ber, Arman, Goma Heci, Kure Spi and Dereboyu. On 23 July, the Turkish state army pulled back some of its operational forces under the support of cobra types attack helicopters, and the rest of the operational forces are still in the field carrying out search and ambushes.
2- On 23 July at around 23:00 hours, our guerrillas carried an action against a contra unit, who were carrying out contra activities against our people and the guerrilla, in the area in between the Village of Tere and its military station/Omerli/Mardin. As a result of this action total of 3 soldiers, including 2 non-commisioner officers and 1 special sergeant, killed by our guerrillas. Aftermath of this action, the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the area in between Nusaybin and Omerli/Mardin, which still continues.
3- The Iranian Army carried out katyusa, obus and mortar attack on the areas of Sehit Beritan, the Hillsides of Sekif, Sehit Ahmet, Kevre Spi/Xakurke and the Village of Kolit and surrounding area, Berbizina, Berdesor, Berderese, Kelasin, the Valley of Lolan and Kanikirej/Xinere/the Medya Defence Areas, from 24 at 18:30 to 25 July at 02:00 hour. As a result of this attack, 2 villagers lost their lifes and 12 others wounded. During the bombardmant 1 vehicle and hundreds of cattles belongs to the villagers burnt and killed. The villagers houses also damaged. As a result of the attack a fire began in the area, which still continues.
