The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla is dealing heavy blows to the colonial Turkish state by using the new era guerrilla tactics. Our forces, which have exhibited a historical resistance for more than four months, have opened a new page in the history of resistance of the oppressed peoples.
Our forces, sacrificing all kinds of attacks against our people's struggle to protect their existence and ensure their freedom, continue their glorious resistance with their actions.
In the actions carried out by our mobile guerrilla units;
3 invaders were punished, 1 attack helicopter and 1 drone were damaged and 3 drones were destroyed. The invading Turkish army bombed the Resistance Areas 35 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons, 10 times with attack helicopters and dozens of times with howitzers and mortars.
The details of the actions are as follows;
1. Within the scope of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign in the Xakurkê region;
– On August 15, at 05:30, 1 drone flown over Girê Şehîd Hakî in Xakurkê was downed by our mobile units.
2. Within the scope of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign in the Avaşîn region;
– On August 16, the invading Turkish army attempted to introduce chemical warfare agents into the tunnel facility via a hose, which was destroyed by our forces in the Werxelê Resistance Area.
– On August 16, at 19:00, the invaders who wanted to demolish the battle positions in the Werxelê Resistance Areas with the excavator vehicles were hit with sabotage tactics.
3. Within the scope the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign in the Zap region;
– On August 16, at 11:00, the invaders who attempted to attack with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons to the battle positions in the Karker Resistance Area were hit with individual weapons by our mobile units. After the action, the invaders had to retreat one stage.
– At 03:05 on August 17, the occupiers on the move in the Çemço Resistance Area were put under control by our YJA Star forces and hit with an assassination tactic. In this action, 1 invader was punished.
4. Within the scope of the Cenga Xabûrê Şehîd Savaş Maraş Revolutionary Campaign;
– On August 16, at 18:00, the invaders around the battle positions in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were hit with individual weapons and hand grenades. After the action, the invaders had to retreat one stage.
– On August 16, at 18:10, 2 drones flown over the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area were destroyed by our forces. At the same time, a bomb-laden drone was shot down by our mobile YJA Star units.
– On August 16, at 18:15, the Turkish army's Bamernê military base in Metîna was hit by our forces. Our mobile units targeted an excavator vehicle with heavy weapons. In this action, 1 excavator vehicle was destroyed and 2 invaders were punished.
– The attack helicopters that wanted to bombard the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area at night on August 16 were targeted with heavy weapons by our mobile units. 1 attack helicopter was hit and damaged by the effective hits of our forces.
5. The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons;
– On 16 August, the battle positions in Girê FM, Şikefta Birîndara and Karker Resistance Areas were bombed 14 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons.
– On 16 August, the battle positions in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were bombed 21 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons.
– On August 16, between 15:45 and 17:05, the invaders tried to direct the poisonous gases into the battle positions by lighting fire 4 times in front of the battle positions in the Werxelê Resistance Area.
6. Attacks by the invading Turkish army with howitzers, mortars and helicopters;
– On 16 August, drone activity was observed in Girê FM, Girê Cûdî and Saca Resistance Areas.
– On 16 August, Saca, Girê Amediyê, Girê Cûdî and Girê Hakkarî Resistance Areas were bombed 10 times with attack helicopters.
– On 16 August, Girê Amediyê and Girê Hakkarî Resistance Areas were bombed dozens of times with howitzers and mortars.
