The freedom guerrillas of Kurdistan are the basic defence force of our people, who are wanted subjected to genocide through the elimination of their ability to defend themselves. The epic resistance of the guerrillas against the occupation attacks continues.

In the actions carried out by our mobile guerrilla units, 4 invaders were punished, 2 invaders were injured, 1 drone and 1 heavy weapon position were destroyed with the weapons.

The invading Turkish army bombed the battle positions in the Resistance Zones 15 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons, 11 times with warplanes, 26 times with attack helicopters, and dozens of times with howitzers and heavy weapons.

The details of the actions are as follows;

1. Within the scope of the Cenga Xabûrê Şehîd Savaş Maraş Revolutionary Campaign;

– On August 2, at 08:00, a drone on the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area was shot and downed by our forces.

– At 09:00 on August 2, the invaders who attempted to bomb the war tunnels in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area were hit and 1 invader was punished. The explosives that the invaders brought with them were under the control of our forces.

– On August 2, at 19:00, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were hit by our mobile YJA Star teams with an assassination tactic and 1 invader was punished.

– On August 2, at 18:30, the invading Turkish army attacked the war tunnels in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area with chemical weapons and poison gasses. The invaders, who had to retreat after the intervention of our forces, bombarded the war tunnels with heavy weapons.

2. Within the scope the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign in the Zap region;

– On August 2, at 07:50, our forces targeted the enemy's heavy weapon position in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area with heavy weapons. It was destroyed together with the weapons in the position and 2 invaders were punished.

3. Within the scope of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign in the Avaşîn region;

– At 17:15 on August 2, the invaders who trying to build a position with excavators in the Girê Werxelê Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons. After the action, the invaders stopped the construction of the position.

4. The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons;

– On August 2, Girê Amediye and Girê FM Resistance Areas were bombed 15 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons. It has been determined that the chemical used in Girê FM war tunnels emitted an intense colour smell and caused respiratory distress.

5. Attacks by the invading Turkish army with heavy weapons, howitzers, helicopters and warplanes;

– On August 2, drone activity was observed over the Girê Amediyê, Girê Bihar and Berçiya areas.

– on August 2, around the Saca and Zap waters, and around the village of Banka in Metina; the village of Girê in the Garê area and the villages around Çemankê were bombed 11 times with warplanes.

– On August 2, Girê FM, Girê Cûdî and Kurojahro Resistance Areas were bombed 26 times with attack helicopters.

– On August 2, Serê Metîna and the surrounding of Banka Village were bombed dozens of times with howitzers fired from the Bamernê military base of the invading Turkish army within the borders of Southern Kurdistan.

– On August 2, Kela Çemço area was bombed dozens of times with heavy weapons and howitzers fired from outposts on the border.
