The historical resistance of our forces in Zap and Avaşîn continues. Since the invading Turkish army could not get the desired result in the face of the historical resistance of our forces, it commits war crimes and uses chemical weapons intensively.
The invading Turkish army used chemical weapons against our forces 23 times on 20 May, and bombed them 33 times with warplanes and hundreds of howitzers. Effective actions of our forces continue against the invaders who want to get results by using intense technical and dirty war methods. Under the leadership of our YJA Star forces, 6 invaders were punished, 1 invader was injured and 1 camellia was destroyed.
The details of the actions are as follows;
1. In Avaşîn region;
– On May 20, at 11:15, the invaders attempted to bombard the Werxelê Resistance Area with chemical weapons were targeted and shot by our forces with heavy weapons. As a result of this action, the invaders had to retreat one stage.
– On May 20, between 11:15 and 15:30, the invading Turkish army bombed the Werxelê Resistance Area 7 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
2. In the Zap region;
– On May 20, at 10:00, 10:30 and 15:50, the invaders around the battle positions in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were targeted and shot by our forces with individual and heavy weapons. As a result of these actions carried out by our forces, 2 invaders were punished and 3 invaders were injured. A Skorsky type helicopter that wanted to airdropped on the area at noon on the same day was put under fire by our forces. The Skorsky type helicopters that tried to airdropped at 23:30 at night were again targeted by our forces. As a result of the intervention of our forces, the helicopters had to leave the area without being able to airdropped.
– On May 20, at 11:20, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the Martyr Tolhildan battle positions of the Kurojahro Resistance Area were targeted and shot by our forces with sabotage tactics. As a result of this action, 1 occupant was punished and 1 invader was injured. On the same day, at 13:25 and 17:45, the invaders were targeted with sabotage tactics, individual weapons and hand grenades and shot again, and 3 invaders were punished. As a result of these effective actions carried out by our YJA Star forces using different guerrilla tactics; 4 invaders were punished and 1 invader was injured.
– On May 20, at 10:00, the invaders, who were on the move around the battle positions in the Şehîd Şahin Resistance Area, were targeted and shot by our forces with heavy weapons.
– On May 20, at 01:30, an attack helicopter tried to bomb the Kela Çemço area was put under fire by our forces. After the intervention, the invaders had to leave the area.
– On May 20, the invading Turkish army bombed the war positions of Şikefta Birîndara, Girê Şehîd, Şehîd Tolhildan, Şehîd Berxwedan and Şehîd Şahin 16 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
3. In the Heftanîn region;
– On May 18, at 08:00, the camellia belonging to the invaders in Girê Dûpişk in the Keşan area was targeted and shot down by our forces with heavy weapons. As a result of the action, 1 camellia was destroyed, the number of punished and injured invaders could not be clarified.
4. On May 18, at 15:30, the Sîre outpost of the invading Turkish army in the Şêladize district of Amiye was targeted and hit by our forces with heavy weapons. As a result of this action, the targets determined were hit with accuracy.
5. The invading Turkish army bombed the Medya Defence Zones dozens of times with warplanes, attack helicopters and howitzers.
The details of the attacks are as follows:
– On May 20, Girê Cûdî, Girê FM, Girê Amediye, Karker, Girê Ortê, Girê Martyr Cûdî, Çiyareş, Kela Çemço, Şehîd Şahin, Girê Mamreş, Şehîd Şemdîn, Şehîd Dîdar, Kurojahro, Girê Hell areas of Zap were on the border line. It was bombed 23 times by howitzers, attack helicopters and warplanes fired from the outposts.
– On 20 May, it was bombed Girê Hakkarî border line in the Metîna region with howitzers and 7 times with warplanes fired from the outposts on the.
– On 20 May, the slopes of the Werxelê Resistance Area in the Avaşîn region were bombed three times by howitzers fired from the outposts on the border line and warplanes.
