Our forces in Serhat province carried out effective actions against the invaders during the winter period. The war media of the Turkish state ignored the actions of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla in North Kurdistan and never reflected them to the public.
The details of the actions carried out in Serhat province, based on the new information provided by our forces due to the winter conditions, are as follows:
– On November 19, 2021, our forces noticed a secret invading unit in the Demirkapı area of the Gilîdax region. This invading unit was put under control and targeted by our mobile guerrilla teams on November 19 at 15:30. While 3 invaders who were hit effectively with individual weapons were punished, 2 occupants were injured. Later, the invaders took the dead and wounded from the area with armoured vehicles and a Skorsky helicopter.
– On 13 February 2022, the intensive reconnaissance aircraft activity of the invading Turkish army started in the Demirkapı area of the Gilîdax region. On February 20, between 08:00 and 09:30, the area was bombed 5 times with warplanes. On the same day, with the support of attack helicopters, invaders were airdropped on the area 25 times with Sikorsky type helicopters, armoured vehicles were brought to the area and surrounded on three sides. On February 25, the invaders with dozers and large crushing machines and reached a base that our forces had used before. Our YJA Star forces shot the invaders who wanted to enter this old base, using the sabotage tactic, with 15 different traps at the same time. More than 10 invaders were punished here. Our forces did not suffer any casualties in this operation of the Turkish state, which lasted for days.
On the basis of false information provided by the Turkish Ministry of Interior to the Turkish war media, a completely fake heroic scenario was written that 11 of our comrades were martyred in Gilîdax on May 9, 2022. However, with the information provided by our forces in the Serhat area, it has been understood that we did not have any losses in this operation, on the contrary, the invaders were dealt a heavy blow, and this scenario of the Turkish state, based on lies, was completely false. It has become clear that this operation, which lasted for months, was completely inconclusive, in which hundreds of invaders, construction equipment, trucks, armoured vehicles, helicopters, warplanes and reconnaissance planes participated. This incident proved once again how much fear even the smell of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla instilled in the hearts of the invaders.
