TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1. On 9^th of July, 2010, at around 21:00 hours, our Guerrilla Forces carried an action against the positions and entrance of the Dukan army station/Gurpinar/Van.  After soldiers left and run into the station by leaving their positions and the entrance of the station, our Guerrilla Forces also targeted the station itself all together.

As a result, clash lasted for 40 minutes, and the station, positions of the enemy soldiers and entrance of the station have been damaged by our Guerrilla Forces, using heavy weapons. Yet, we couldn’t be able to clarify the number of losses of the enemy forces. The Turkish state army launched a military operation in the area, which still continues.

2. On 6^th of July,2010, at around 22:00 hours, our Guerrilla Forces carried an action against the Hill of the Vergili (Begirman) army station/Gercus/Batman, with two different groups. As a result, four (4) enemy soldiers killed and 6 others wounded by our Guerrillas. After this action, the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the area. On 8^th of July, the operation ended, yet hidden units of the enemy left in the area for search and ambush.

3. On 4^th of July, 2010, the Turkish state army bombarded the areas of Findike and Deriye Gabar/Gabar/Sirnak, with cobra type attack helicopters. As a result of the enemy bombardment the area set on fire, which still continues.

4. On 4^th of July, 2010, the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the rural areas of Norsin/Bitlis. On the same day, at around 21:00 hours, a clash occurred in between our Guerrilla Forces and the enemy’s operational forces. As a result of this clash, enemy forces widen their operation and a second clash occurred on 6^th of July, at around 19:00 hours. As `a result of this second clash one (1) of our guerrilla named Rojhat have had cut off from his unit as he was wounded. And, on 7^th of July a clash occurred in between our wounded guerrilla alone and the enemy forces which went on from 11:00 to 14:00 hours. Our Guerrilla named Rojhat have been reached to his testimony after bravely resist alone for three hours against the enemy forces, who attacked with heavy weapons. As a result of these three clashes one heavily, total of three enemy soldiers wounded. We couldn’t be able clarify the number of the losses of  enemy. The operation pulled back on 9^th of July, yet , hidden units of the enemy units left in the area for search and ambush.
