TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1- On 2nd of August, 2010, the Turkish state army bombarded the villages of Mambene and Kemire/Zagros/the Medya Defence Areas, with obus and mortars.

2- On 1st of August, 2010, the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the area of Siware Bene/Cukurca/Hakkari. Our Guerrillas carried an action against these operational forces of the enemy. As a result of this action, our guerrillas killed 2 enemy soldiers and number of soldiers wounded. Afterwards of the action, the Turkish state army bombarded the area with obus and mortars. The military operation is still continuing with hidden units of the Turkish state army with search and ambushes.

3- The Contras belongs to the Turkish state army oppressing the people in the villages of Kasan and Tapkirankale/Elbistan/Maras, as acting guerrilla by wearing guerrilla clothings. Our people should be aware and more sensitive against this sort of Contra activities.

4- The Turkish state army bombarding the areas of Gire Heliz, Bestresa, Riste and Gire Xane in the area of Sehriban/Besta/Sirnak since 18th of July, 2010, with obus and mortars. As a result of these bombardments, a fire began in the area, which still continues.

5- The Turkish state army bombarding the areas of Xerxol, Beysa and Gezinge/Pervari/Siirt since 20th of July, 2010, every night in between 19:00-24:00 hours, with obus and mortars. As a result of these bombardments, a fire began in the area, which still continues. And, the lands belongs to the civilians have been damaged.

6- On 1st of August, 2010, in between 19:30-20:00 hours, the Turkish state army bombarded the Hills of Sesdara, Ware Kemal and Sehit Sehmus/Haftanin/the Medya Defence Areas, with obus and mortars. As a result of this bombardment a fire began in the area, which still continues.

7- The Turkish state army launched a military operation in the area of Xerxol/Pervari/Siirt. On 30th of July, 2010, at around 08:30 hours, our guerrillas carried an action against one of the units of these operational forces of the enmy, which they took under surveilance before. As a result of this action, 1 professional sergent killed and 3 other professional sergent wounded by our guerrillas.

On 31st of July, the Turkish state army launched a military operation with also involvement of the village-guards, in the areas of Xerxol and Beysan. The military operation pulled back on the same afternoon with no result.

8- On 28th of July, 2010, a clash occurred between our guerrillas, who went for a duty, and enemy soldiers near by the village of Hestvan/Gercus/Batman. As a result of this clash, one of our guerrilla name Xebat Baz (Welat Xalit) heavily wounded. Our guerrilla member Xebat exploded a hand granade with himself  for not to became prisoner of the enemy, after resisting bravely, and reached to testimony. Afterwards, the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the areas of Hestvan, Berdehol and Mawa. The operational enemy forces delibaretly set a fire of the bushes in the area and the fire still continues. The military operation pulled back on the night of 30th of July.
