Under the leadership of our YJA Star mobile teams, a Revolutionary Operation was carried out in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area to avenge our comrade Bêrîvan Zîlan, one of the pioneers of our freedom movement.
With this legendary retaliatory action, the YJA Star has once again shown that it is the legitimate defence force of Kurdish women and the women inspired by worldwide. The occupying states equipped with a reactionary patriarchal mind can attack the will of free women all they want, but our life in the free mountains of Kurdistan led by the free women's movement will forever remain an eternal truth.
In the actions of our forces 17 invaders were punished, 1 invader was injured and 1 armoured vehicle was damaged. The invading Turkish army bombed the Resistance Areas 12 times with tactical nuclear bombs, chemical weapons and tear gas, 7 times with attack helicopters, 4 times with warplanes and dozen times with howitzers.
The details of the actions are as follows;
1. On August 4, 2022, our comrade Baz Mordem, who took part in the historical resistance against colonialism at the Resistance Areas in the Medya Defence Zones, martyred as a result of an illness. Our comrade Baz Mordem became one of the resisters who opened a new page in the history of freedom of our people by developing an epic resistance against the colonial enemy, and became an exemplary Apoist militant with his courage and determination in the war. We express our condolences to all patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially his valuable family.

2. Within the scope of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign in the Zap region;
– Our YJA Star mobile teams, which put under control of the invaders who tried to take action in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area, carried out a revolutionary operation in the morning of 23 August.
Our forces, which shot the invaders with individual weapons from 3 sides, punished 11 invaders and injured 1 invader. After the action, the invaders who wanted to take their losses away from the area were hit with assassination tactics and 2 more invaders were punished. Our YJA Star mobile teams in the area hit the invaders who wanted to remove their losses from the area with armoured vehicles. In the sabotage action against armoured vehicles and an armoured vehicle heavily damaged. Following this action, the armoured vehicles had to retreat. In the evening hours the invaders on the area were hit again and 2 more invaders were punished.
In this revolutionary operation carried out by our YJA Star mobile teams with the spirit of the Apoist courage 15 invaders were punished, 1 invader was injured and 1 armoured vehicle was damaged.
– On August 23, at 07:10, the invaders in the Saca Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons.
– On August 23, at 08:30, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the battle positions in the Çemço Resistance Area were hit by our mobile teams and 2 invaders were punished.
– At 23:00 on August 23, attack helicopters that wanted to bombard the Karker Resistance Area were targeted by our forces. After the hits of our mobile teams, attack helicopters had to leave the area.
3. The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons;
– On 22 and 23 August, the battle positions in the Karker and Çemço Resistance Areas were bombed 10 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons.
– On August 23, the battle positions in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were bombed once using a drone.
– On August 23, the battle positions in the Çemço Resistance Area were bombarded with pepper gas.
4. The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with howitzers, helicopters and warplanes;
– On August 23, drone activity was observed in Şikefta Birîndara Area.
– On August 23, Saca Resistance Areas were bombed 7 times with attack helicopters.
– On August 23, the Sîda Resistance Area was bombed 4 times with warplanes.
– On August 23, the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area was bombed dozens of times with howitzers.
