TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1. On 8th of May, 2010, in between the hours of 15:00-17:00, the Turkish state army bombarded the areas of Sate, Dola Sate and Cete Bogazi in Zagros/the Medya Defence Areas, with obus and mortars.
2. On 8th of May, 2010, at around 8:00 in the morning, the Turkish state army carried an attack to cross the border, on the border areas of Elemun, Aruse and Mazi Cine in Haftanin area/the Medya Defence Areas. As a result of this attempt of the enemy, clashes occurred in between our guerrilla and enemy soldiers in two places, one after another. As result of these clashes, total of 3 soldiers have been killed and 2 soldiers wounded. The military operation is still continouing.
3. In the framework of the continuing military operation, which started on 6th of May, 2010, in the area of Oramar/Yuksekova/Hakkari, enemy forces made an attempt to attack on the area of Sehit Rahime in Zagros area. on 8th of May, at 7:00am in the morning, a clash occurred in between our guerrillas and the enemy soldiers. As a result of these clashes, many numbers of the killed and wounded enemy soldiers have been picked up by the military helicopters, yet the number of killed and wounded soldiers couldn't be able to clerified.
4. On 7th of May, 2010, in between the hours of 12:00-16:00, the war planes belongs to the Turkish state army made a low-fly over the area of Xakurke/the Medya Defence Areas.
5. On 20th of April, 2010, the Turkish state army have had started a military operation towards the areas of Nurhak, Engizek, Salamon and Kocdag / Maras. As a part of the operation, a conspiracy made against our guerrillas in the village of Bicim in the area of Nurhak. As a result of this conspiracy, one of our friend named Reber (Omer Sipal) has been martryed and another wounded and taken as POW by the enemy forces. This case has been reported before by the medya organizations. Yet, due to the intensive operations, we just could be able to clerified the case just now and wanted to share it with public.
