The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla continues its actions uninterruptedly to salute the 15 August Initiative by inflicting heavy blows on the invading Turkish army with the spirit of victory of our immortal commander, Comrade Egîd.
Our forces combine modern guerrilla tactics and show the whole world with high sacrifice and under the most difficult conditions that they are the defenders of Kurdistan.
In the actions 10 invaders were punished, 2 invaders were injured. At the same time, 1 Panzer type armoured vehicle and 1 position were destroyed. The invading Turkish army bombed Resistance Areas 3 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons, 3 times with warplanes, 7 times with attack helicopters, and dozens of times with tanks, howitzers and heavy weapons.
The details of the actions are as follows;
1. Within the scope of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign in the Zap region;
– On August 8, at 18:10, the invaders in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons by our mobile guerrilla units, 2 invaders were punished and 1 position was destroyed.
– On August 9, at 10:30, the invaders in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons by our mobile guerrilla units.
– On August 9, at 18:00, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the war tunnels in the Çemço Resistance Area were shot with individual weapons. After the intervention of our forces, the invaders had to retreat one stage.
– On August 9, at 19:00, 1 Panzer type armoured vehicle, which wanted to advance from Kunîşka to Çemço Resistance Area, was put under control by our mobile guerrilla units and targeted with heavy weapons. As a result of the effective hits of our forces targeted armoured vehicle was destroyed, 7 invaders were punished and 1 invader was injured. After the action, the invaders were able to remove their losses from the area with Sikorsky helicopters.
2. Within the scope of the Cenga Xabûrê Şehîd Savaş Maraş Revolutionary Campaign;
– At 13:00 on August 9, the invaders who wanted to bombard the Şehîd Pîrdoğan battle positions in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area with explosives were shot by our mobile guerrilla units with an assassination tactic. In this action, 1 invader was punished and 1 invader was injured.
3. The invading Turkish army launched a comprehensive invasion operation in the Esendere area of Colemêrg's Gever district on 1 August. This operation was withdrawn without result in the evening of 6 August.
4. The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons;
– On 8 and 9 August, the war tunnels in Girê FM, Werxelê and Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Zones were bombed 3 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons.
5. Attacks by the invading Turkish army with tanks, howitzers, heavy weapons, helicopters and warplanes;
– On August 9, drone activity was observed in the Girê FM Resistance Area.
– On August 9, the Saca Resistance Area and the Serê Metîna area in Metîna were bombed 3 times with warplanes.
– On 10 August, Girê FM and Kurojahro Resistance Areas were bombed 7 times with attack helicopters.
– On August 9, the Girê Şekîf and Geliyê Lolan areas in Xakurkê, as well as the Çemço, Şikefta Birîndara, Girê FM and Girê Cûdî Resistance Areas were bombed dozens of times with tanks, howitzers and heavy weapons.
