Within the scope of the “Dem Dema Azadiyê Ye” our forces carried out effective actions against the invading Turkish army. Details of the actions are as follow;
1. On May 9 at 07:30, 08:15 and 09:40, The Şehîd Delal Air Defense Forces carried out 3 actions targeting the occupation forces positioned on Hill Zendûra in Metina region. In the action, targets were effectively struck.
2. Within the scope of the “Bazên Zagrosê” Revolutionary Offensive;
- On may 7 at 12:40, our forces carried out an assassination action targeting enemy forces positioned on Şehîd Dilgeş hill on in Avaşi region. In the action, 1 enemy soldier was punished.
- On May 7, at 18:30, our forces carried out an action targeting 2 enemy positions on the Şehit Şahan Hill in the Xakurkê region. In the action 6 enemy soldiers were punished while 2 positions were completely destroyed. In addition, other invaders on the hill were also targeted, as a result of which a radar on the hill was destroyed.
In this attack, carried out in memory of the Mamreşo Martyrs, a total of 6 invaders were punished, while 2 positions and 1 radar were destroyed. After the action, the invaders bombed surroundings areas, and at 20:00 in the evening, the invaders carried away causalities with helicopters from the scene.
- On May 8, at 08:30 our forces targeted a Turkish unit trying to advance on the Şehîd Ekin hill in the Avaşin region. In the action, 1 enemy soldier was punished. The Turkish army removed the casualities an hour later and withdrew from the action site.
3. The invading Turkish army carried out attacks against Medya Defence Areas.
The details of the attacks and bombings carried out are as follows;
- From 19:30 until 22:00 on May 7, helicopter mobility was experienced in Şehit Munzur Hill, Qela Mamresho, Aris Faris, Mervanos and Sukê areas of the Avaşin region.
- Zendura Hill of the Metina region was bombed with warplanes from 12:35 to 13:15 on May 8.
- On May 8, at 16:30, the vicinity of the Girê village in the Meyrokê area of the Garê region was bombed.
- On May 8, at 17:05, the land of Kêste village in the Metina region was bombed with warplanes.
- From 21:30 to 01:30 on May 8, helicopter mobility was experienced in the Şehit Serhed, Koordine and Dilber hills of the Metina region.
- On May 8, at 00:20, the surroundings of the Lolan Stream in the Xakurke region were bombed with warplanes.
We did not experience any losses in the bombardments.
