Press Release
1. Within the scope of the Battle of Heftanin Revolutionary Campaign, our forces continue their actions against the invading Turkish army. Details of the actions are as follows:
On August 10, at 07.50, our forces carried out an assassination action against the invaders positioned on the Qesrokê Hill in the Partizan area. In the action, 1 enemy soldier was punished.
On the same day, at 14.30, our YJA Star forces carried out an assassination action the enemy soldiers positioned on the Katosulê Hill in the Bektoria area and 1 enemy soldier was punished.
During the intense clashes in the Pirbula area on 8 August, our contact with a friend was broke off. Comrade Sorxwin Amed joined the caravan of martyrs by fighting against the enemy forces until the last bullet in the conflicts in the Pirbula area.
On August 9, at 21:00, the invading Turkish army carried out air attacks against the Pirbula area. Our comrades Ferman and Mazlum were martyred in these attacks.
The ID information of our martyrs will be shared with the public later.
2. Within the scope of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Campaign, our YJA Star forces carried out a sabotage action targeting a disguised unit of the enemy in the morning hours of August 11, positioned around the Zinê outpost in Hakkari's Gever (Yüksekova) district. 3 enemy soldiers were punished in this action.
3. On August 10, at 07.30, our forces carried out an action against the counter-guerrillas involved in the construction of a military outpost in Çakmaklı village of Hozat district of Dersim. In this action, a vehicle belonging to the counter-guerrillas was hit effectively. The number of dead and injured enemy forces could not be determined.
4. Our forces put under surveillance a unit of the invading Turkish army positioned near the village of Mişkê in the district of Bazid (Doğubeyazıt) in Ağrı. The enemy units, which were kept under control for a while, were targeted by our forces from 2 different sides on August 9 at 15:00. In the action, 2 soldiers were punished and 3 soldiers were wounded. The occupying forces carried away the wounded and punished soldiers by Skorsky helicopters towards the evening.
5. On 2 August, the invading Turkish army launched an operation in Çırav area in the Gabar Mountain region of Şırnak and retreated from the area on 3 August without any results.
6. Warplane the invading Turkish army bombed the Mervanos area of the Avashin region in the Medya Defence Zones at 19:00 on August 9 and at 10.50 on August 10.
We did not experience any loss in these bombardments.
