TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1. On 20th of July, 2010, at around 02:00 hours, our Guerrilla Forces attacked on a mobile army station, which has been placed in the area of Uzundere and, in between the villages of Bilican and Talise/Cukurca/Hakkari. As a result of this action by our guerrilla forces, more than thirt y (30) enemy soldiers killed and the guerrillas taken under the complete control of the Bilican mobile army station. While some of the military equipment have been conviscated by our guerrillas, the other heavy weaponary such as obus and mortars have been destroyed.
In the morning hours of next day, Scorscy type military helicopters came to the area under the support of Cobra type attack helicopters in order to get dead and wounded soldiers, yet the helicopters had to leave the area as a result of the action taken against these helicopters by our guerrillas. The clashes continues place to place under the cotrol of our guerrillas. We will be sharing as more details comes up.
2. On 18th of July, 2010, our guerrillas carried an action while a civilian transit type minibus, which carrying enemy soldiers, was passing by in the area of Cukurca/Hakkari. As a result of this action, the minibus which was carrying more than ten enemy soldiers has been completely destroyed, and many numbers of soldiers been killed. Also, the action has been recorded by a camera. We will be sharing further results with public as details comes up.
3. In between 21:00 hours of 19th and 01:00 hours of 20th of July, 2010, the Turkish state army bombarded the area of Xantur and Sesdara/Haftanin/the Medya Defence Areas, with obus and mortars.
4. In between 19:00 hours of 19th and 05:00 hours of 20th of July, 2010, the turkish state army bombarded the area of Carcela/Zagros/the Medya Defence Areas, with obus and mortars.
5. On 18th of July, 2010, at around 16:00 hours, our guerrillas carried out an assasination action on the Ipek Yolu Street/Yuksekova/Hakkari. As a result of this assasination action by our guerrillas, a high-lieutenant have been severely wounded. He died later after taken to hospital.
6. The surrounding area of the villages of Tenge Kele and Derik set a fire as a result of the bombardment made by the turkish state army against the area of Haftanin in general/the Medya Defence Areas, since 18th of July, 2010. The fire in the area still continues.
