Press Release

The Kurdistan Freedom Struggle has become the name of the honorable revolutionary development of the Kurdish people with its unique history of resistance. The development of this honorable history has progressed step by step with the great sacrifices of the people of Kurdistan. Thousands of heroes have emerged from the militant stance of our martyrs with an unshakable will power, and the promise of a free tomorrow have become our reason for war and life.

The Botan region has created the legends of this revolution that carry the history of self-sacrifice, educated commanders, and wrote the epic of great heroism in every battle. Our comrade Bedran Cudi, or Bedran Gundikremo with his other name, has also transformed his struggle of over 30 years into the epics of legends.

Comrade Bedran, who has been struggling every moment, fighting with determination, steadfastly and resolutely in the toughest conditions, has become the leading commander of the development of self-sacrifice, loyalty, bravery and of greatening the fight. Comrade Bedran has become a friend of the mountains of Kurdistan. His unique involvement has embraced a novel epic at every moment of his struggle in over 30 years of his disciplined militant life.

Comrade Bedran has become a militant of unparalleled history in the friendship created in the footsteps of Agits (Mahsum Korkmaz), Adils, Erdals, Pılıngs, Nudas, Gulbahars, Ciçeks and of his son, Hamzas. It was possible to see the traces of the revolution in him at any moment. Every guerrilla has created a totally different respect and love for him when he tells with a strong interpretation that the PKK's resurgence and liberation struggle is in the glory that changes the course of history. He has managed to crown his revolutionary life as a veteran for the highest purposes with the training he received from leader APO. While Botan was the heart of this resistance heroism, Gundikremo had a role as the vein. With his participation, comrade Bedran has always shown his pioneering position at the highest level and has become the holy militant accepted by the people of the region, becoming the promise and action power of the revolution.

In the garden also visited by civilian people in the village of Segirê located in Amadiya district, comrade Bedran who welcomed his son Mehmet Tanıt and the militias named Murat (Zeki) Atak, Osman Arzu and Abdulkerim Izer, was martyred alongside our four special guests as a result of the Turkish state’s specially targeted intensive air strikes on April 22. Our families, each of which has paid a price for the revolution, are our people who are the leaders of patriotism, the pioneer and symbol of commitment. Their martyrdom has become great losses in terms of the Kurdistan Freedom Movement.
